Primary responsibilities of Project Manager includes ensuring a smooth hand-off of the project from the sales team to the field team. PM will work on the virtual Project plan to help refine budget goals and schedules to aid in completion of project at or before time line and at or under budget by utilizing employees, professional and company resources, and professional network of suppliers and subs. They need to make sure the construction work can be well completed according to the contract.
Duties and Responsibilities
Not limited to, but may include:
Work with sales team to verify estimate costs and design
Work with network of suppliers and subs to maximize profit
Organize, manage, task field employees to maximize productivity and efficiency in the field.
Manage all day-to-day field operations task
Coordinate all job activities (including but not limited to project mobilization, town permits, inspections, sub work, calendar, supplier drops, etc.)
Oversee budget and scheduling of jobs
Help to Resolve unforeseen job issues as they arise in order to comply with budget and time line.
Communicate effectively with office staff
Communicate effectively with in field handler
Communicate effectively with employees, suppliers and subs
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.
Project manager will have excellent planning skills and be able to effectively schedule tasks, set and meet deadlines, set and follow a budget. PM will effectively virtually manage field handler and employees (as needed), sub-contractors and suppliers, virtually monitor work performed through our online PM tools, and ensure tasks are completed within budgetary and time restrictions. PM will be able to read blueprints and schematics and will have excellent knowledge of building codes to ensure the project is in compliance with building standards and regulations. Extensive experience with full-phase construction including tools, procedures and processes. Extensive experience with managing daily operations. Familiarity and good working-relationships with network of professionals in the area.
Minimum 5-10 years of Project Management with proven, verifiable track record. High school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree (or more) preferred.
Must be able to work on Builder Trend platform (will train) and basic knowledge of Excel spreadsheets. Excellent phone and in-person communications skills. 11
