You and I will partner on creating content that will help my growing community of women with natural hair, transitioning, newbies and relaxed hair, find the path to healthy hair.
We’re talking actionable, one of a kind content based on real-life cases they’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else.
I’m the founder of a beauty brand based in Angola, focused on women with natural and transitioning hair, easing the process of understanding their natural hair texture.
We are an extremely fast growing company that is well known in our market.
We are planning for our newest launch, so I’m looking for a dynamic person to take ownership of my content creation and distribution.
You are passionate about hair care, with a focus on natural, transitioning and relaxed hair.
You occasionally stay awake into the wee hours of the night reading the latest posts from your favorite natural hair blogger, and you may be familiar with real 4C hair gurus like Jessica Pettway (@jessicapettway) and others.
You’re obsessed with lead magnets, sales funnels, and epically long and meaty blog posts or emails —equal parts because you want to learn what they’re teaching and you want to learn from their techniques.
You’re self-taught and constantly sharpening your sword.
You use instincts as a starting point and data as your guide. Driving results and having an impact motivate you.
You can write a mean email, sales page, and launch sequence… and if you’ve never written one before, you have the confidence to research, reverse engineer, and figure out how to make it happen.
You can transition from short form writing, such as a brief welcome email, to long form writing, such as a 3,000-word blog post and not skip a beat.
Did I mention you *live* for epically long and transformational blog posts and love putting them together? I’m talkin’ screenshots, GIFs, memes, hashtags, Canva graphics—the whole nine! That means when you see this post: (Case Study) This Newsjacking Strategy = 2,000,000 Visitors (http://bit.ly/2fx0QW9) or this post: How I turned my blog into a course and made $70,000 in 30 days (http://bit.ly/2fx1Cm0), you squeal with excitement and your eyes well up with tears of joy.
One of your superpowers is customer empathy, so you can take on the voice of the audience in your writing while maintaining a unique point of view. That means you may just invent the next hot hashtag.
You prefer being a behind the scenes contributor than being front and center, so ghostwriting is a role you’re okay with and mostly prefer.
YOU’RE FUNNY. I mean… You don’t have to be IRL funny, but you gotta come with the jokes, sarcasm, and humor. We’re talkin’ producing writing your readers can’t take their eyes off.
IMPORTANT: You value progress over perfection, know that done is better than perfect, and you live by these principles everyday. You’re process-driven, known for making workflow checklists, work faster than I do, and may have been a project manager in your former life.
We'll agree on a monthly pay that works for both of us.
