We need a rockstar Content Manager to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. The project price is the monthly salary for this role.
The Content Manager ensures all content released to clients is up to our company’s standards. You will be replacing an Oxford graduate who has years of experience in the field, so that’s the benchmark of quality we’re aiming for.
This is a remote work arrangement / Work-from-Home position, so is open to applicants worldwide. It would be great if you are based in the Philippines, but not necessary.
Qualifications for Content Manager
-3 or more years of experience as a Content Manager or in a similar roleNative English Speaker (preferably from North America, UK, Australia, South Africa, NZ, etc.) with an incredible eye for grammar and an excellent writing styleStrong attention to detail
-Understands the importance of audience-focused content and can tell the difference between content which does and does not add value for a target audience
-Ability to have an in-depth familiarity with multiple brands and their respective styles and approaches, across various industries (tech, business, marketing, finance, and other niches)In-depth understanding of content marketing strategies and goals
-Experience managing content teams and supporting writers to continuously upskill
-Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the company's brand identity
-Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement
-Experience with social media engagement strategies and best practices
-Strong skills in creating and recognizing original content that targets a specific audience and meets company objectives
-Ability to work well in client-facing roles
Responsibilities for Content Manager:
-Familiarize yourself with each organization's brand, content and website to create content that supports their objectives and desired identity
-Works with the executive director and directly with clients to identify content needing updates and revisions, as well as formulating a workable content roadmap
-Oversee a content production team's creation and management of targeted content for each company's audience
-Develop a content strategy that encompasses the goals of a company and aligns with the company's image
-Cooperate with the marketing team to create web content and monitor its effectiveness over time
-Manage the daily activities of a content marketing team
-Maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year
-Ensure teams are using target keywords to write search-engine copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining and informative
-Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites
-Edit and revise content - acting as the final set of eyes giving content approval before it’s sent to clients
-Provide feedback to Content Team on how to improve writing in line with client’s brand identity
We work with a lot of tech startups, such as cryptocurrency companies, fintech, investments, marketing, and similar industries so some expertise or at least familiarity with these industries is a plus.
Please note that this is a full time position, ideally long-term for the right candidate.
