My name is Nikolas and I am contacting you from Cyprus.
My agency is currently working on a project for the local Tourism Authority and we will be creating 3 promotional videos for traveling.
We have already produced the first one that has set the tone for the next ones as well. It's called: Cyprus. From A Greener Point Of View and you can watch it on the YouTube channel "Visit Cyprus"
Now we are in the process of producing the second video which will be under the "sun & sea" concept and will be around 2:30 - 3:00 min. long
All our videos are following a story-telling approach, so we have created the concept for the new video and we are looking for a copywriter to create the perfect story,
The story is about 3 friends visiting Cyprus in the summer and Its being "told" by the main protagonist (man in his 30s)
Please have a look at the below and let me know if you think you could help us with that:
by the way, some of the sample script parts are a bit cringy..:) so we definitely need some help with the copy..!
The brainstorming process that will lead to the final script
Τhe moment practically everyone dreads: the end of an awesome trip.
Returning home, brings that nostalgic, almost sad feeling, that the best part is already in the past.
Intro: (Our story starts from the end.)
Our protagonist is at the airport with his friends.
He is quietly sitting in the waiting room, listening to his music, and thinking about the great experience he had on the island during the previous days.
He is thinking that he just had the most amazing time, but now it’s over and he needs to "land” to his routine as nothing has changed.
But something did change! he thinks to himself.
“You don’t know exactly what, but isn’t there something left inside you after every such amazing experience?”
In the meantime, his turn has come up and he is called to check-in.
As he reaches in his pocket for his passport, he feels something strange. He opens his hand, and he sees the most beautiful heart-shaped sea rock.
He smiles and whispers “At the end, there‘s always something left deep inside you that will always be with you!“
And the story begins!
Our hero starts to tell the story of his time in Cyprus and how it was full of exciting experiences, laughs, stories, emotions.
As we watch the stunning footage of the whole experience, he reflects on how much the trip taught him and even how much it shaped who he is now at the end of the trip.
And then, he thinks, you start to get another little seed of wanderlust, and you want to do it all again.
Have I told you about my trip to Cyprus yet?
