About The Role
This role is focused on building ad creative for some of our client's ongoing digital marketing campaigns. This may come in the form of Facebook, YouTube, Instagram or display ads, landing pages, or content. Skills required may range from art direction and concepting, production design, motion graphics, and participating in client presentation and review meetings.
You’re a talented Creative Director with great communication skills and a strong portfolio to demonstrate past work. You have a can-do attitude and are excited at the idea of building beautiful creative for all kinds of American and Canadian companies. You're a digital native and you live and breath digital design work. You have a strong work ethic and are looking for regular freelance work from a dependable partner (us!).
-Participate in client pitch, discovery, project planning, research and execution process
-Work hands-on with an internal design team, as well as other freelancers
-Oversee and participate in the production of content across a variety of clients and channels
-Collaborate with a range of stakeholders across the organization to create world class digital creative
-Work directly with clients to build industry-leading digital creative, developing and conveying brands’ messages across all of their digital marketing channels
-Ability to interpret creative feedback and data into iterative design. A multi-revision process is often part of our work.
-Understand the importance of aligning the overall campaign narrative into every channel execution & deliverable
-Expert communication both internally and externally, providing clear direction to our internal team and storytelling in client pitches
-2+ years of Creative Direction either in-house, at an agency or freelance
-A proven track record of developing and executing exceptional conceptual ideas
-Experience working with digital ad campaigns
-Experience working client-facing in a hands-on team environment
-Strong knowledge and understanding of design best practices, and clean, modern taste
-Strong knowledge of the best practices and technical requirements of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google advertising formats
-Strong proficiency in digital design, attention to detail, and the ability to manage asset production from conception to completion
-Deep understanding of typography, illustration, iconography, photography, and experience with the process behind great design
-Expert competency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
-Competency in After Effects, Keynote, HTML5
