We are a Managed Services Provider seeking a friendly and reliable Customer Service representative to handle incoming and outgoing calls with clients on a full-time schedule.
Hours for this position are:
40+ Hours/week (Overtime may be available)
Monday through Friday
8am - 5pm EST (U.S. - Eastern Time (GMT -5))
We support our clients networks and computers from start to finish - so we receive all kinds of calls related to technical support issues or requests that need to be logged into a ticket so that they can be assigned to a technician.
You should be comfortable and experienced in making calls to U.S. business clients whose offices may lose internet connectivity and we need to determine the cause (Internet outage, Power outage, etc..).
Technical tasks may include making calls directly to Internet Service Providers to work with them and possibly help resolve issues by walking clients through finding and rebooting their network connected equipment like modems, firewalls, or servers.
This position may also need to perform basic troubleshooting steps with clients such as documenting error messages, restarting programs, or rebooting computers, so having technical familiarity is helpful.
This position is part of a Customer Service team that directly interacts with our technical support team in real-time on a daily basis.
Stable internet connection and ability to make / receive phone calls in a quiet environment is required.
