Trove is a Shopify app who recovers abandoned shopping carts for eCommerce stores. What does this mean? Well, say you’re a shopper who’s looking for a new watch. You are on your phone shopping around when you add a new timepiece to a cart on an online store. At that moment, you realize that you left your wallet in your car. As you’re already in bed for the night, you close out of the store. This is where Trove comes in. You then receive an email that is a reminder to purchase the watch – then a message directly through Facebook messenger the next day when it’s a more convenient time to check out. You check out and the store makes their sale that otherwise would have been lost. Shopify is used by over 15,000 Shopify stores and recovers over $3M in abandoned carts monthly.
This role is a hybrid that combines Customer Success responsibilities with content creation. You should live and breathe to assure every customer is happy with Trove – as well as hold a passion of creating content that tells our story in a strong way.
As a Customer Success Rep/Copywriter you will:
•Reply to basic customer support tickets to make sure all customers are happy with Trove – handling issues such as basic trouble shooting, pricing, and general questions
•Proactively reach out to Trove subscribers to assure they are successfully using Trove to their advantage
•Write articles/blogs on a weekly basis to maintain fresh content
•Stay on top of eCommerce trends to ideate and create/assisting in creating content such as infographics, charts, videos, etc
•Assist with major products when extra help needed
Trove is based out of the USA but as this is a remote position, we will entertain candidates who are able to work remote from anywhere.
•Work 8 hours a day/40 hours a week - between 6 PM EST and 10 AM EST.
•Strong English skills – both written and oral communication
•Writing skills – ability to regularly write 1,500-2,000 word articles on industry trends
•Ability to learn the ins and out of Trove app to aid in basic troubleshooting
•Passion for customer success
•SEO knowledge a plus
•Creative/design experience a plus
•Team player – positive attitude, start-up mentality with “big thinker” mind
This is a 40 hour a week position that pays $1,500-2,000 USD
