We are looking for two to four 3D model designs for a one time use interconnect between a plastic (polypropylene) low-profile hollow cylinder connected to a fabric [CUP] and a small plastic (ABS) device frame [DEVICE].
The goal for the project is to develop a one time use interlocking feature that allows the DEVICE to snap into the CUP and secure the DEVICE in position for a minimum of 8 hrs. When the DEVICE is removed from the CUP, the CUP has to be physically broken (by pulling a tab on the CUP, twisting it, or in some way breaking it) so the CUP can no longer be used. Since the DEVICE is reusable, the breaking of the DEVICE and CUP connection should not cause the DEVICE any harm.
The proposed solutions must maintain a intact wall of the CUP to allowed it to be filled with jelly and allow the CUP to be sealed on the top and bottom with foil seal.
The second goal for the project is to come up with a design that allows the CUP to activate the DEVICE by actuating a part of DEVICE that pushes a switch on the PCB board in the DEVICE. Thus the CUP will only allow the DEVICE to power on when the DEVICE is clipped into the CUP.
