We are a small business operating four sustainable butcher shops and are looking to improve our holiday ordering experience by allowing online pre-orders. However, the data we get directly out of Shopify is messy, and we are having trouble getting it into a format that works for us.
Specifically, we are looking to create three "views" based on the raw data file provided:
(1) A spreadsheet containing each item ordered and its details (size, bone-in or bone-out, skin off or skin-on, frenched, hinged, etc) sortable by pickup location and day. This is used by butchers to fulfill orders the night before pickup.
(2) A dashboard summary of #1 - how much of each item is on order for each location, broken out by pickup day. This is used by the team at headquarters to manage inventory and plan deliveries.
(3) A spreadsheet grouping items into customer orders (customer name, phone number, order number, date and location of pickup, deposit paid). This is used by the meat mongers to facilitate order assembly and pickup on the appropriate day.
