Our app helps users deliver presentations using a flashcard style app, the app also connects to a desktop application to control PowerPoint - we already have an early functional version of the app but looking for some extra features as well as some UX adjustments. You will work with our lead developer who has worked on the project initially and also as a project manager.
Using the flashcard style interface during a presentation, users can tap on bullet points to show pop-ups containing more information, currently this information is only text based, we want to be able to include images, these images can be imported from the camera roll or from the local device and then iCloud Drive/Dropbox/Google Drive.
The app already use multiple fonts but we want to include more, this font is then selected in user preferences and is then used as the main text when the user is presenting.
The addition of a simple presentation timer - when the user is delivering the presentation they may only have a certain amount of time, to aid the user we want to add a simple text based timer to the flashcard, as they change cards the timer remains until they reach the last card and finish the presentation.
Help Guide/Wizard - some pages on the app require some tooltips to aid the user, especially when it is their first time using the app. There should also be help pop-ups shown when tapping the help icon.
UX Improvements to improve app flow and general usability improvements. We have identified improvements that we'd like made for when a user connects to a local machine to connect to PowerPoint - this involves tapping a list of currently available devices and showing a loading progress icon while the user authorises the connection on their desktop/laptop machine.
Addition of Crashlytics for tracking issues with the app, for both iOS and Android.
Then screenshots included are just to give a feel for where the current app sits, with your help we are looking to have a much more user friendly version - we are looking for someone who thinks about the end user first and writes really robust, useable, clean applications.
