I live there and I have one roommate, Opal Berry. I need a roommate for the 3rd bedroom. You can advertise wherever you would like. I have written an Ad, you can see it on my Facebook wall. This time, I have advertised on Market Place but I am getting poor quality people that want to bring several people to live in the same room. Perhaps we should take it off Marketplace and make it a fresh Ad. I am wondering if there is a stigma to Marketplace as it is used items normally that people want to get rid of. You can use my FB account. I have joined a lot of groups you can share the Ad on their wall. The ones you would share it to are roommate finder type groups, singles groups, Christian groups, not the real estate investor groups though… those are for my work. You can join more groups as well. I am a real estate investor that flips houses. The best time to share the Ad. Is 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Central time. I used to post it daily but you have to make sure and delete or hide the Ad from the day before so the group does not have two copies of my Ad on their wall because the get upset. You will need to write perfect English as the prospective roommate will initially think they are talking to me. You will need to check FB messages and the filtered messages and check likes and comments. I would write to the people that liked or commented to see if they are interested or know someone who is interested. Another App I used in the past is Roomster and ApFolio. I heard easyroommate and roommates.com are good. Also twitter, google+, and snapchat. Please do not post on Craig's List as it brings poor leads. You can use any other method you would like. Keep in mind that the prospective roommate will need to fit in with myself, Twyla Vaughan and Opal Berry. You can see our FB profiles. We do not party a lot, we are friendly to one another, and we all clean the common areas like living room and kitchen. I do not allow smoking in the house nor animals. The is no covered parking for roommates but there is plenty of parking a few yards away. The room is furnished but if they prefer I can remove the bed and chest of drawers. I would like to get a roommate fast. The room is available now. The roommate I had before is getting married. The room is for one person only, no children. I would like to have a roommate by March 1st. I really want a 1 year lease but if we do not find a suitable roommate soon, I will consider a shorter lease. The prospective roommate needs to make three times the rent, so $2K/month. You will screen prospects by asking them questions to see if they fit what I am interested in and look at their FB to see if they seem suitable. You will book showings for me. My schedule is flexible as I work from home but would prefer to put the appointments back to back if possible. I will show them the condominium and see if they fit in with myself and my current roommate. You can then do a background check to see if they have committed any crimes.
