I am working on the electrical system for a pulse fusion reactor prototype. This reactor holds a large amount of promise as a power system for small and remote communities. Pulse fusion produces no waste and can use elements easily extracted from sea water as fuel.  The current prototype has been tested and is currently under review for the next generation design.

Specifically, I am currently investigating the behaviors of spark gap switches and conducting plates. The triggering time of the spark gap is expected to be reduced by using coaxial cable, this must be simulated. The rise time of the current in the conducting plate structure must also be reduced by reconfiguring the geometry of the plate for lower inductance.

I have detailed CAD/Solidworks models for all parts of the electrical system for a pulse fusion reactor prototype. This project will consist of many milestones and could continue for over a year.

1) convert all 2D cad drawings to 3D components (i.e. insulator rings, buss plates, bolts)
2) combine all 3D components into the electrical sub-systems
3) assemble electrical systems into drawing of full reactor and make a series of exploded views
4) export 3D models of electrical system into Ansoft/Ansys Maxwell finite element modeler to determine behavior of spark gap trigger and assist me in performing the modeling

I can get any AutoCAD suite and Ansoft finite element modeling tools I need in order to work with you on this project. I will need you to sub
