PLEASE Read the entire job posting description and follow the directions
completely. Not to be harsh, but it is a waste of your time to just blast us
with your information without following the instructions...that is if you're
truly interested in the job.
We are looking for someone bright, dynamic and engaging to create a series
of approximately 20 videos, each approximately 60 seconds long demonstrating
our fitness product.
So obviously we need someone who is fit with a pleasing camera personality.
If you are in the U.S. we can ship you a sample of our product to use in the
videos. (You will be able to keep the sample. You will not have to be
responsible for shipping it back to us.)
We will provide you with a list of approximately 20 different exercises that we
would like for you to demonstrate and
explain to the viewing audience. Those are the 20 fitness
videos that you will be creating.
We will need model release signed and all
exclusive rights for videos and video content.
To apply, please submit a cover letter indicating your understanding of
the requirements, along with an explanation of why you'd be a perfect fit for
this gig. With you application, we will also have you create a 30 second
sample video of you demonstrating sit-ups/crunches or push-ups. Load the
video to Youtube and provide the link with your application. (You retain all
rights to your sample video.)
We ask you to do this during the application process so we can make
sure that you have a professional looking background/environment in which to
film the video, to see your physical presence and audience engagement
on camera, to make sure that you speak American English, and to ensure
that you can follow written instruction.
I am spelling it out as plain as can be in writing, so if you are not going to
follow these instructions, please don't bother to apply. It is disappointing,
because in fact 70% or more of the applicants (some of them incredibly
talented) do not follow instructions.
Thanks - we look forward to seeing your sample video and cover letter.
P.S. We have been scammed before with upfront payments, so unfortunately
we do not pay upfront before the job starts
