Hello! My name is Emily G. and I'm one of the actors and co-creators of an online not-for-profit audio serial adaptation of Gaston Leroux's "The Phantom of the Opera". Because our project is currently not-for-profit, most of the actors (most, if not all, are not professionals) use varying types of recording equipment and methods to record their character's dialogue for the series. A fair portion of the cast, including myself, use Blue Yeti microphones to record their dialogue, however, because of people's budget limitations, they use whatever adequate recording equipment that is available to them. We are looking for someone to maintain continuity with the tracks coming in from freelance VO artists using different equipment' -- to create uniformity. We also require for someone to have access to or the ability to create particular SFX and room ambiance' -- for example. In addition to this, if possible, we also want someone to not only supply necessary SFX as needed but also to be comfortable with blending original music with that of period classical/operatic recordings - including but not limited to vocal recordings of singing by certain members of our cast.
If anyone is interested in more information or wishes to take part in the project, and if you are comfortable, leave a message and we can arrange a meeting with the director James E. and c-creators either via Facebook (if they have a Facebook account) or Skype.
Below, I have posted a clip of the original teaser trailer for the project for your consideration.
We look forward to potentially working with you.
