I am currently working on a top down 2d game. I need a GML programmer to add a click to move movement system to my game. I need the system to fit into the current code base. I use an User Event to handle most movement. I am also using an input object for keyboard controls. The idea is to replace my keyboard controls with click to move controls. I use a look up table to handle the animation. I have already semi-successfully added a click to move (with pathfinding). But, I am struggling to get the animations to go along with the new system (in the old keyboard control system animation is called by keyboard input). I also have a Roll/Dash state. This is also controlled by keypress(I need it to be controlled by double clicking). The system should allow of click and drag to have player follow mouse(finger once on mobile).
I would also like a system that places an object where the player clicks and then disappears when player arrives (only one at a time). Dash/ roll would have a different color sprite.
Please only respond if you have gamemnaker. Preferably gm 2. This shouldn't be too hard since all of the systems are mostly built. I just need the click to move system to fit into the current Move State Machine.
