I'm Jon, the founder of www.castandspear.com. Cast & Spear is an up and coming website that reaches thousands of people every month all around the world.
I'm looking to hire a writer who can help me grow Cast & Spear even further with incredible in-depth fishing guides.
The position will start with 2 blog posts per week, with much room to grow beyond this if you can deliver consistent quality work.
Each blog post will be between 1,500-3,000 words, though some may be a bit shorter.
Please note that I have very high editorial standards compared to most other blogs. Every post that I publish goes through a strict editorial process where I check all claims and ideas for accuracy. My readers trust me, so I absolutely must ensure the highest quality content.
My budget is around $110 per week for 2 x 1,500-3,000 word articles. So please bid based on delivering 2 x 1,500-3,000 word articles.
You'll be assigned topics by me and given a submission deadline.
You will also be given an extremely in-depth article brief containing research, keywords, and an article outline.
It's quite likely that in the first couple of weeks there will be a lot of feedback and editing required, but once we get into the swing of things it should be a very smooth gig.
By all means, check out my latest blog posts at www.castandspear.com to get a feel for the sort of quality I am looking for.
Note that I only require my writers to write the content. No web formatting or design is required.
Please provide at least 2 samples of similar content you have written and/or published in your application. These must be links to existing web content, no attachments of any kind.
Thanks and good luck!
P.S. In order to screen for mass-applicants, please put the scientific name of the "Bluefin Tuna" at the top of your cover letter. I'm sorry I have to make you jump through this hoop, but it's, unfortunately, a must on Upwork.
