We wrote a kids book (age: under 5 years). To complete it we need illustrations to underline the text and make the book exciting. Therefore we are searching for an illustrator.
Here the key facts:
- format: 17,78 x 25,4 cm (7 " x 10 ")
- pages: 35 to illustrate (including cover and back)
- 2 main characters (dogs) + some side characters without specific characteristics (monkeys)
- story is about 2 dogs on an island, having adventures
- to illustrate: pages doesn´t need to be fully covered, only a little drawing, we´ll place the the text around, background can be white (see pictures attached, not for style but for rough layout)
- 4 pages (beginning & end) shall be double pages, so the double page shall make one image which shows the jungle and the dogs
- we can provide a script (English/German) and rough ideas for the illustration
Important: As we didn´t decide the final style for the drawing we are open to all kind of illistrations. Please attach a little preview (one image/page) of our stle of illustration to your proposal.
