We have a 2-page MS Word article that we'd like to send to potential clients, primarily in electronic format. We'd like to hire one or more graphic designers on a fixed-price job to spend a little time working on the document to make whatever graphic changes (NO CONTENT CHANGES) you think would help the document be more visually appealing and suitable for marketing purposes, while keeping it as a 2-page document.
STYLE: We want the new document to be appropriate for marketing and to look clean, professional, and up-to-date. The design should enable the reader to focus on the content while being impressed by the overall look of the document and how it represents our small company. We're NOT looking for unnecessary frills.
We know everyone has a different graphical eye, so we may hire more than one designer to work separately on this, so we have multiple options available for us to consider. We're content people, not design people, so we're looking to hand this over to someone who can improve its look.
FORMAT: The final product should still be in MS Word format (which we can convert to PDF if desired). IMPORTANT: the content of the final MS Word document should still be easily editable so we can potentially use the format for similar MS Word documents in the future.
OUR LOGO SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN FINAL DOCUMENT: The final design should include our company logo somewhere on the document. (That file will be included in the attachments if we hire you.)
If you'd like, you can also create a graphic out of the "3 steps" listed in the article (ask the right questions, analyze, easy-to-understand results and next steps).
TIMING: We'd like you to have your version of the document back to us within 48 hours after being offered the job.
BUDGET: $25 per freelancer hired.
DETAIL-ORIENTATION: Please make "cactus" be the first word in your cover letter.
