Umbrella has a pool of marketing-professional (“Members”) through which we sell 3rd party marketing technology and services.
We provide Members, among others, with billing capabilities. The process is as follows:
- Members would use our platform to bill the end-client by sending a secure link which includes a digital invoice with credit card form.
- Umbrella receives the funds from the end-client and then will distribute the funds to
The Member who made the sale
- The relevant Vendor(s) of the product that was sold
- Umbrella will keep a small commission
John Smith (Umbrella Member), is selling a Reputation-Management Software from a company called Broadly (Vendor) to his client, G&H Attorneys LLC (End-client).
John will access his Umbrella’s Members Area. And create a digital-invoice for G&H.
John will send G&H a link with the digital invoice.
Once G&H pay, the funds go to Umbrella, who then pay John and Broadly their share on the 25th of the month following.
The process of setting up “Products” as a billable item with specific prices, setting up “Vendor” to paid to with specific commissions, setting up Members with specific commission, saving the information in an easy to access way for finance people, is today disjointed and cumbersome and lacking in some important features.
