We have designs for 100-200 cards, and want an experienced graphic designer to set up templates so that we can use InDesign's data merge feature to generate card images to send to print.

Work will include creating a new InDesign document/template based on existing png card images, including fields that will allow us to import card data from a provided excel spreadsheet or csv, generate all the cards and export them to pdf for submission to printer. The final deliverable should be an InDesign file and the associated set of folders and files necessary to merge to a one-page (8.5x11, landscape) 8-up full-bleed pdf of (8) cards that can be sent to our printer.

A five-star outcome will most likely be achieved because the freelancer has used the data merge feature before (or because of extensive experience with InDesign that allows them to learn the feature quickly), and will be able to produce a first draft that is 70-80% of the way there within the first hour after receiving the contract. The entire job should not take an experienced design more than 3-4 hours because 95% of the design/layout decisions for the cards have already been made.
