LoRa Wireless Remote Data Capture System
We are developing a water monitoring and management system which we plan to integrate into a cloud based Management Console. The console will collect data from a range of remote devices and compare the readings with standard values or trends. This comparison might result in control messages being sent back to a remote device. The remote devices could be anywhere in the world and could be owned by different entities.
We are looking to adapt low-cost off-the-shelf products such as Arduino and Dragino (as shown in the link below) with suitable firmware to provide the hardware required to communicate with the remote devices. Proprietary hardware may be developed later.
We require the services of a competent engineer to advise on and help develop the basic system, design and develop any required hardware interface PCBs to connect a range of water quality sensors, and to provide ongoing support and maintenance.
The contract will have two components. The first will be an hourly rate to develop the initial low-cost LoRa hardware wireless and sensor system. The second part is an ongoing hourly contract for continued ad-hoc development and maintenance.
The deliverables will include the necessary documentation to allow easy use of the system as well as the source code for any software developed during the contract period.
