We are in need of EXPERIENCED transcriptionists and transcript editors to be added to our existing team. You will be working on a variety of files from interviews to focus groups to movies to seminars and etc.
Transcripts are in word, txt, or google docs formats.
You will sign a transcription agreement form for privacy and non-compete.
You will be asked to do a short transcription test before being hired.
Rate will vary and will depend on experience and quality of course. Trans up quality/off QA will be $15 per audio hour. If QA will be utilized, it will be $6 to $8. QA/Edit work will be $5 to $7. All include Odesk fees. Please do not bid over these rates. No milestones please but milestones will be discussed later on.
Bulk of work comes in from 9 PM EST onwards. Work is still available morning EST but limited.
Take note that bad quality of transcript may not be paid. You will always have your compared document or transcript so everything will be transparent.
Requirements are as follows:
1. Stable internet at least 1 MBPS
2. Own computer/laptop.
3. Quiet working place.
4. Own headset.
5. Pedal (optional)
6. Back up power (optional)
7. Back up internet is a plus
8. Cellphone number for emergencies.
9. Gmail account.
10. Must be able to return a 30-minute transcript within 4 to 6 hours. If you can't return a 30 minute file within the given TAT, please do not apply. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
Job description and qualification.
1. Must be able to do at least do 3 hours of audio per week. Full timers will be given priority.
2. Experience is a plus.
3. Skype ID for interview.
4. Must be a team player.
