I need an experienced video editor to quickly clean up some training videos I filmed. MUST be fluent in English, as it is required to efficiently edit these videos. More specifically, I need you to:
1) EDIT OUT any questions asked by the trainees in the video, while keeping the presentation flowing smoothly.
2) EDIT OUT any repetitive talking, unimportant, or unfinished thoughts by the presenter. If the presenter is answering a question by a trainee, but doesn't have a complete thought, CUT IT OUT. For example: (Trainee) "Is all this furniture made of solid hardwood" (Presenter) "Yes it is, minus the molding on the top." In this case, CUT IT OUT. If the presenter clearly stated "Yes, all of this furniture is made of solid hardwood, minus the molding on top" then you would only cut out the word "Yes" making it "All of this furniture is made of solid hardwood, minus the molding on top." Make sense? Don't worry about jump cuts as I will have b-roll to cover it.
3) Use your best judgement to make the video as CLEAN and SHORT as possible without cutting important content. CUT OUT "conversations" between the presenter and trainees. There should be little to no dead space and make it seem like no questions were asked by the trainees.
4) MUST be edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. All you have to do is edit it and then send the Premiere project file back to me. I will export on my end after I review your work, so don't delete the footage until it is approved. The video must have a good starting and ending point.
I have 7 videos that are between 2-3 hours in length that will pay $200 each, and I have 20 videos that are between 30-90 minutes that will pay $100 each. If hired, I will start you with a 30-90 minute video. This will be an ongoing project, so I may hire multiple editors at first to see who the best fit will be moving forward. Efficiency, skill and professionalism will land you the gig moving forward. I will most definitely keep you busy in 2018.
