I am actually looking for a web developer to help me with a pretty big client that will be sending me work on a regular basis. Just to give you an idea of some of work I am looking to have done below is a description of the current job we need done:

My client’s website is a custom built subscription based service on a WordPress platform. It’s a bit hacked together by the previous developer, but that’s a whole other story. They are looking to track events via Google Analytics. They want to track the following events:

Event 1→ Sign Up (when the user is created)
Category: user
Action: sign up

Event 2→ Subscribe (when the user subscribes for the first time)
Category: user
Action: subscribe
Value: **price

Event 3→ Renew (A former subscriber subscribes through checkout)
Category: user
Action: renew
Value: **amount paid

Event 4→ Lead form submitted
Category: user
Action:form submitted

Event 1 and 4 are pretty straight forward and could probably be implement via onsubmit with ga.js.

Here’s some info if you haven’t heard of ga.js:
I think this can even be implemented through the jQuery library.

Events 2 and 3 would have to be implemented through php-ga (https://code.google.com/p/php-ga/.) in order to ensure only one response is sent to Google Analytics. Obviously we don’t want credit cards not going through and the response still being sent. This will allow you to tap into the registration functions and purchase functions of the shopping cart running behind the scenes and properly trigger only one response.

If you are interested please contact me.
