Search for Common Ground, a non-profit headquartered in Washington, DC, is seeking a freelancer who can provide support troubleshooting and augmenting existing custom .NET applications that drive some of our financial functions for staff across the world.  

These include:
Adding columns that pull from an existing SQL database to an application that displays them on a webpage.

Making changes to the logic of an upload process to change the behavior and to add error codes.

Limit possible file uploads to certain file types.

Making grammatical, style, and spelling corrections to these applications

About The Environment:
Applications handle displays of invoice records, uploading excel spreadsheets into our Financial Systems, and maintains electronic documentation of expenses and inflows, among other things.  These are .NET applications that currently display in a Sharepoint environment, so they interact with Sharepoint for Document Libraries and the like, but otherwise are independent of it.

Who we Seek:
We are looking to identify a freelancer who provides excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and is able to explain and document technical processes so his/her workflow can be understood.  While this project will be fairly short-term in nature, we also anticipate that there will be an ongoing need for tweaks, changes, and optimizations as our business requirements change, so we hope to identify someone who would be an ideal fit for ongoing engagements over time. As the main contact is an English-speaker, someone who can communicate effectively in English will be important. The successful candidate will also be required to sign a confidentiality agreement to gain access to systems, and agree that all work will become property of SFCG.
