If you're a designer, do you have what it takes to wear the "key art designer" title? We're looking for a few freelance designers to design conceptual movie posters with or without existing assets. Require great conceptual skill, strong typography, Photoshop, and photo illustrations/manipulation (and sometimes photography), and most important passion in storytelling. Work needs to be strong and compelling to tell a story - be it science fiction, fantasy, romantic or thriller. You have to help create an image to tell a story and compel a worldwide audience to want to see the film. Here's the ugly truth about independent films, sometimes the asset images are limited, low res, low quality, actors are in bad angle., or even NO ASSET! So you need to be able to create assets from scratch, take photos, or use stock images (spaceship, alien, talking dog, world war, creature, zombies, shark attack, etc.) and sometimes you will need to do magic to make actors look sexy and make low res screen captures look awesome! Bottomline - people will say "I want to see that movie" based on your keyart.
Some creative direction will be provided, and if you're great and fast, there are plenty of work from us to you. We don't care where you're from or where you work, as long as you have what it takes to be awesome.
Work require from concept sketches to building assets to delivering layered Photoshop files in required specs. Bill on per project basis.
