We are a small but quickly growing book publishing company (romance) and are looking for a virtual assistant who would help with the recruitment and management of the ghostwriters and other team members.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Recruitment of the writers (job posting, screening/interviewing, hiring)
- Management of the book creation process (from providing job description to the writer, through reviewing the manuscript, to delivering a finished product)
- Recruitment of other team members (when needed)
- Book idea research
This is a long term position and we are only looking for very reliable and responsive individuals. If you have experience with managing writers or writing/editing/publishing fiction/romance books, that’s a plus - please mention it! This position will require you to be creative, have Microsoft Word 2013 or newer and be proficient with it.
Schedule is flexible, however you are expected to be available for a 15-30min voice call daily sometime between 10am-8pm EST.
Salary will be fixed amount per book delivered and other tasks will be billed hourly.
