We have been doing CEA/Indoor ag operations for many years, albeit on a smaller scale and as such, R/D mode. We have grown many things and even figured out ways to grow fruit bearing plants with the use of pollinators (like bumble bee) on a large scale, completely indoor using ONLY artificial lights!
So, now we are constructing a large facility (5+ city blocks!) creating hundreds of new, good paying jobs.
We have received an SBA 504 loan approval and along with other “gap” lenders, we are set for the constructions. We have even received a low, seven figures grant from the state authority as well as land (for free) from the city that is also in the low seven figures!
We have financials done by an SBDC, we have a custom ordered feasibility study on our project by a well-known CPA firm (that recommended us). We have logo and tag lines done and even have a “password protected” website??
We also have started to receive letters (that I could share once we start communicating) from investment groups who wants to talk with us to invest in the nine figures!! So, we know, this is something that’s happening and we just want to make sure the outcome is guided and controlled to our expectation.
There is a leg time in between the construction and operation of about four months.
We are hoping to hire someone/some group to do a “marketing campaign” to create awareness of what we are doing and hopefully, those folks will turn into our buyer and support our venture. We have the commercial accounts set up (wholesalers etc.) but we prefer retail (direct to consumer) so that (1) our products move thru less hands and (2) we make better margin; in the long run.
We also are wondering, if by virtue of these “awareness campaign” we can create enough buzz to do a round of crowdfunding/DPO (regulation D) etc. or even a handful of private investors, to shore up some working capital etc.? As a startup (technically) we can never have too much working capital. Right?
So, if you have experience on both (marketing and startup funding), and have been successful at them with proven track record, we welcome you to apply for consideration.
We would prefer a small fee (or nothing up front) and then back end cut on the funding side. For the initial marketing side, we do have a small budget.
Please send us your proposal for both including your background and justification as to why we should choose you. We will be in touch shortly.
We will require an NDA signed before any discussion; please be aware of that.
