I'm in the early stages of getting an invention engineered and prototyped, and I've now reached the point where I need some outside expertise. The product will most likely be steel based, so a working knowledge of metals is a must. The product will employ both hinges and locks, so previous experience in those two areas is an advantage, but not a requirement.
I am looking for an individual to look at the initial product, find the flaws, suggest corrections, and then be able to design the project in CAD. In a perfect world, the designer would also be able to make a working prototype, or recommend someone that could. However, again, that's an advantage and not a requirement.
Payment can be either a fixed price, or hourly.
