I am a very busy person and I just don't have the time to research things like I want to. I am running a non profit organization and I have budget to meet. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that I find the lowest price on things.
I am looking for certain items such as hats, key chains, glass drinking bottles, boy shorts (for women) and other specialty items. I need someone who can research who has the lowest deal, and ALSO be able to negotiate lower prices or be able to try and get people to be FLEXIBLE in their MOQ's (minimum order quantity) as we are a small non profit organization and do not the money to buy in very large quantities.
I will give a few examples:
1. I need to find glass water drinking bottles. But I also need to find someone who can make the rubber around the bottle to prevent it from breaking if dropped. It already comes with that, but I need to have it custom made so that I can print my log on it. This means, you need to find the cheapest drinking containers made of glass that I can order the fewest of. I can't be buying 500 of them. More like 50-100. This is a challenge to find. I then need to have search for someone that can make the rubber around it. This would probably involve you copy and saving a picture of what I want. Then providing that picture to certain people who might be able to do the job. Then, you would have to find a print place who can print on this rubber. So, you must have the presence of mind to ask if they can do all of that, make the rubber and print. And then if they can refer you to anyone who does? Something like this should take possibly 10 hours with the adequate research being done over the course of several days.
As you can see, this job involves problem solving skills. Also, you need to know how to use key words to find things such as "glass drinking container rubber cheap custom made" or variations of this.
Other simpler jobs involves finding me the best price on ink printer cartridges for my computer. This should take no more than 30 minutes.
Once an adequate amount of time has been spent on a particular item, and there has been correspondence between email between you and them, with you finding out more information, you will then contact me with your findings (links, prices, and a synopsis of what you found out). If you don't know what the word synopsis means, look it up.
Communication is EXTREMELY important. The person who who applies for this job MUST speak very good English and be able to communicate. I do not have the time to waste trying to figure out what you are trying to say or mean. Please, do not waste my time if you do not speak good English or cannot communicate effectively.
This can become a long term position. We will be expanding as time goes on and there will be more work with more opportunity.
