We are looking for a writer who is able to take on a large amount of product copywriting. Only candidates with experience and writing examples are asked to apply.
The products all center around products related to gutters. You know, the things on the sides of your roof that collect rain? Yeah, those. The website has existing copy that can guide the writing, but it needs to be rewritten and optimized with keywords (there is a lot of duplicate content on the site right now). In total the descriptions should be about 150 words each.
We will give you a rough template of what each piece of content should look like as well as a spreadsheet so you can track your progress. All of this work will need to be completed in Google docs and formatted to the template.
The scope of the work is 134 items in total. These include gutters made from different materials, rain chains, and just about everything related to gutters. It’s not riveting, but it is pretty self-explanatory. Each topic should include keyword targets (which we will supply).
We are flexible with timeline for completion, but want to set deadlines from day one, and keep those deadlines. This is something we will need help with in the future so if you get this job and succeed, you can look forward to similar assignments down the road.
We need these to be perfect from a grammatical standpoint and are only really looking for someone who has previous experience in product copy - we will ask for samples!
If you have any questions beforehand, just drop me a line and we can clarify. I will personally review all submissions.
Payment will be made on a per-product basis. We’re looking to do $4 per product but will consider raising that to $5 for the right candidate. It doesn’t seem like much, but honestly, this work is not rocket science and there’s a whole lot of it. It will end up being pretty lucrative for the amount of time/energy involved once you get rolling.
