Hi all,

I'm looking for a Nodejs/javascript developer to create a single page that stores/retrieves recipes from a mongo database.

The form/page should allow for basic CRUD operations of the documents.

Document spec/schema is as follows:

_id - ObjectID (automatically generated, no need to specify)

Recipe name - String

Description - String

Meal - int (this indicates which meal of the day this recipe is for: 1 for breakfast, 2 for lunch, etc)

pic - String (url to image of recipe)

ingredients - Array of JSON objects: { ingredient: "cinnamon", amount: 0.25, unit: "teaspoon" }

nutrition - JSON subdocument: { protein: 12, fat: 2, carbs: 30 }

directions - JSON subdocument: { 1: "put cinnamon in bowl", 2: "bake at 375 for 2 hours", 3: "eat" }

attribution - String (url pointing back to source website, if applicable)

Ingredients, Nutrition, and Directions should all be capable of supporting documents of varying sizes.

Mongoose or standard MongoDB drivers are acceptable.

To the ideal contractor, this will sound like a pretty simple task, and it should.  I'm hoping to find the right contractor to work with on the remainder of the project.

Your submission will need to run on Nodejs, it must use one of the common, stable tempting platforms and a bootstrap template such as Twitter Bootstrap.  The reason behind these requirements is to take advantage of the groundwork provided by those systems and not reinvent the wheel.  The code we write should provide direct value to our application with minimal time spent writing code that already exists elsewhere.

Please reply with your bid, some examples of work you've done, and your timeline for completing this task.

Other useful skills worth pointing out if you have them are Facebook integration, cross-platform design, svn, etc...

Once you accept the contract for this job, the price is set.  Please don't accept the job and try to renegotiate later.   Up-front payments of a respectable amount are acceptable, final payment will be made upon completion of the task.

Thanks, I look forward to seeing your submission.
