OVERALL OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE
The Operations Manager (OM) of dSINC Studios is the person responsible for managing staff and projects. The OM is also responsible for ensuring tasks and projects are completed on time and within budget and to the standards of quality set by the company. The OM will work closely with the CEO to achieve the company's objectives.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure work quality is maintained to a high standard in alignment with the company's quality standards, particularly with all aspects surrounding the development and deployment of apps.
Perform Quarterly and Annual performance reviews on all staff to ensure targets are being met.
Coach under-performing staff and implement performance plans.
Review targets and increase where possible to maximise staff output.
Build a positive culture within the company.
Encourage team engagement.
Devise and facilitate the implementation of bonus schemes, compulsory non-work and team building programs and activities with the assistance of the CEO.
Create effective systems to facilitate staff autonomy and improve job satisfaction and retention.
Train staff effectively and efficiently using systemised processes.
Ensure all staff is adequately trained by seeking feedback and improving training systems.
Setting Targets / Developing KPIs
Develop effective and challenging work Targets and KPIs to maximise company productivity and profitability.
Position Description Writing
Identify company need and write/amend position descriptions. Develop position description that accurately cover all aspects of the required role and challenge the individual.
Produce consistent, relevant and effective systems to facilitate improved personal/team productivity, effectiveness and efficiency, reduce operational costs and built value into the business.
Project Management via ASANA
Create, modify and manage projects, tasks and staff in ASANA. Set challenging deadlines and ensure staff are meeting said deadlines. Ensure projects are kept on track and well organised.
iTunes Connect Management
Setup and manage new and existing apps in iTunes Connect.
Ensure apps are being properly provisioned as per company requirements.
Basic Data Entry and Reconciliation
Ensure company database is up to date.
Ensure data is consistent across all company systems.
Creating New Game Projects
Create new game projects and save to company shared drive ensuring required staff have necessary access.
Game Rejection Handling
Respond to or dispute Apple game rejections and assign necessary project amendments to relevant staff.
Manage allocation of human resources efficiently and effectively.
Ensure staff is performing their tasks in accordance with company policy.
Manage staff rosters ensuring adequate resource levels are maintained at all times.
Game Relaunch Campaigns
Identify poor performing games, amend iTunes meta data and/or game content and re-launch.
Track re-launch and identify performance improvements/decreases.
Continue to iterate until target performance is achieved.
Time Tracking and Analysis
Develop time targets on all tasks.
Track staff's time performance, analyse data and ensure staff are meeting targets.
Identify time wasting and confront/discipline offenders where necessary.
Seek feedback from staff, identify unmet training or resource needs and develop recommendations for the CEO.
