We have a commercial plugin that uses the LinkedIn groups API.
We are looking for a developer to join our team to help deal with issues via our support forum.
As well as being very skilled in PHP and understanding how WordPress plugins work, you need to understand LinkedIn's REST API and be able to deal with customer support via forum and email.
Skills we are looking for:
-- PHP expert able to understand issues with different server configurations and why the plugin does not perform as expected on some sites
-- Experience working with WordPress plugins, preferably in a development role
-- Understanding of LinkedIn's groups API and how it operates on different PHP server environments: http://developer.linkedin.com/documents/groups-api
-- Great communication skills and attention to detail, able to be self sufficient in dealing with customer requests and problems
This is a long term part time role. Estimated 3-4 hours per week most weeks, with a view to increasing this commitment if the relationship is working well.
It is important that you be available to deal with support issues on the same day that they arise, so you will need to be flexible with other projects. We understand that this is not always easy, which is why we are happy to pay a premium rate for your flexibility and being able to deal with support issues in a timely fashion.
Ideally you will also be able to work on future patches to the plugin and add improvements where necessary that we can push out to our existing users.

-- your experience with PHP and Wordpress PLUGINS
-- your understanding of the LinkedIn API
-- your attitude towards customer support
Applications not addressing these three important points will be unable to be considered.
