I am looking for someone to write and submit a daily press release via our PR Web membership. Releases can be scheduled for future dates, so you don't need to work in the system every day, but I do want 365 releases per year.

We are an SEO company that serves local medical practices in the US and Canada. You will be writing press releases to announce news and events for our clients. This may include topics such as hiring a new doctor, extending office hours, running a monthly special, having an open house or adding a new service or product.

Although we want the press releases to be about a newsworthy topic, our primary reason for writing and submitting these releases is the SEO value from the links on PRWeb and the syndication partners. Therefore the releases need to have proper keyword density and contain specific anchor-texted links back to the client sites.

We expect that each press release will be between 350-450 words and follow a standard format. The first paragraph will announce the news. The second paragraph will offer details and explanations about the news. The third paragraph is about the main doctor and his/her credentials and training. The fourth paragraph is about the business. The third and fourth paragraphs can be reused verbatim when we submit a release for the same client a second time, so some of the press releases will only require about 200-250 words of new writing.

To get the maximum exposure and SEO value for each release, it is critical that the writer follow good SEO practices for each press release including:

1) Using keyword in title and first sentence of copy.
2) Inserting anchor-texted hyperlinks to 3 different web pages in each release.
3) Filling in all the social media links allowed by PRWeb (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+)
4) Selecting the maximum number of media outlets based on geography
5) Selecting the maximum number of categories that the press fits into.
6) Adding an appropriate picture with a keyword-rich file name.

We will supply all the contact information and social media links required to submit each release. We will also supply examples of successful releases from which you can get category and wording ideas.

We have budgeted for $20 per release for the writing and submission. Across 365 days, this amounts to $7300. We are looking for someone to join our team at this fixed rate understanding that some releases will be faster and some will be slower.

This initial oDesk project is for 5 releases at $20. If you are successful and want to continue, we will create monthly fixed price projects.
