I am looking for a part time bookkeeper for my business. The process is fairly simple. I need all income and expenses kept in an excel spreadsheet on a monthly basis.
You must need to be proficient in excel spreadsheets, all microsoft office products like excel and word. You must be available to chat on skype about details and/or answer questions in a timely manner by direct email.
My business is fairly simple. We have sales that come in from various clients in various different business categories:
US domestic sales
All people involved in the business are either partners or contract workers so no tax complications. They are paid a commission based on sales.
We can work on properly setting up the spreadsheet together, but the more work you take off of me, the better.
Ideally I will send you copies of bank statements, credit card statements, and merchant account statements along with various invoices and you will respond with an updated spreadsheet and any information about discrepancies in income or expenses.
Please note, I have had many bad experiences with hiring people from India (mostly communication problems) so I no longer accept applications from India. They will be automatically deleted, sorry.
This job should entail just a couple of hours per week, but you must be flexible. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding. This is a long term project.
