I am after a virtual assistant to help with a range of tasks. You will be working alongside a Financial Adviser from Australia helping to keep them organised and ontop of workflow.
Main role will be reviewing the list of outstanding Tasks that are set for the adviser. You are to read through, and understand the task, and then familiarise yourself with where the task is at by reading the updates. You are then to provide a summary of each task and update daily so that the Adviser may prioritise workflow more efficiently.
You are expected to have near perfect written and spoken English with an accent that is easy to understand for an Australian. You must have a stable, fast internet connection that would allow you to use skype to make phone calls, send files, and chat as necessary.
Ability to problem solve and think for yourself is extremely important.
You must be able to be available on skype for communication via chat pretty much constantly during the work day (Melbourne, Australia time).
Training will be provided, but you will not be spoonfed everything. You will be required to think and be proactive.
Initially the job will be a minimum of 2-4 hours a day, 5 days a week, and as needed on an ad hoc basis. It is expected that the successful candidate will receive more work as a trusted relationship is built and they prove that they are responsible, trustworthy and reliable. The role could potentially end up being a full time job.
You will be trained on the job, and I am fine with mistakes due to a bit of lack of communication, but I am after someone who doesn't blindly follow instruction. In otherwords, someone that can think about what we are trying to achieve and come up with the best way to get it.
Any experience in the Finance or Financial Planning field, ESPECIALLY in Australia, will be highly regarded.
