This is a digital art project. I don't see any other way my vision can be realized. Okay get ready...
This will probably be the most wild project you will do here on Upwork. Basically I am looking for someone to make me a custom image for a play-mat. The theme of this playmat is Pokemon so if you're familiar with Pokemon then you have a leg up on the competition. I have posted pictures on an eBay listing that sort of explains what a play-mat is. The description describes it poorly, but basically I need an image to fit a play-mat 24x14 inches. A play-mat is basically an over sized mouse pad if you're unfamiliar.
I basically have it all laid out in my head of what I want the image to look like. I uploaded a VERY rough sketch of what I have in my head. Totodile (a Pokemon also attatched as a picture) is sitting on a bench with a lake in the background, and he is gesturing towards a framed sign sitting on a bench that has my "logo" (if you will) on it. The logo picture is also attached. Then there is a tree overhanging the bench towards the right. The picture is really bad so I apologize, but I suppose that gives you artists a little more creative freedom! I want the bench and totodile, the logo, tree etc. to take up the majority of the picture, with the lake and the grass in the background, so the picture I posted is not proportionate.
Also, I have a few other projects that will be very similar in asking. If I hire someone that gives me a fair price and does a good job, I will consider them for my future projects. Pretty much when this one is finished I have one or two more. Also if you can design logos, I might need that as a project as well. I'm not asking for "special pricing in return for a long term customer", but know that if you're trying to build your profile and need multiple projects, I can help with that if you provide a job well done.
One more note, my asking price is flexible. Not entirely sure what to charge for this sort of project, so I could be completely low-balling. I'm not trying to rip anyone off, but I am new to hiring specialized freelancers, and I'm not 100% sure what to charge. I will be well communicative and would love to work together to get the project perfect. Once again I am looking for a modern, bright Pokemon style look in the illustration. (A quick google image search of season 17 Pokemon can give you a good idea of what style I'm looking for). At the same time I want it to be unique so don't be afraid to give it your own artistic flare. If you think you're the right one to take on a crazy task that no one on here has ever asked for, then apply for it, and we can try to work something out.
I am looking for a mix of experience and value
