** Important Note ** This job is not for your average developer who know's a bit of MySql. Please do not apply for this position unless you know the difference between READ-COMMITTED and REPEATABLE-READ transactions...
We run a SaaS which gathers a huge amount of data on a daily basis, our current MySql database is 100's of millions of rows and 100's of GB's of data.
As our user base grows, our database is coming under increasing strain and are reaching our level of expertise to tweak the database to keep performance as required. The database is in a Master-Slave configuration using innoDB tables.
We are looking for a HIGHLY EXPERIENCED, PROFESSIONAL database admin who has the experience to help us not only with tuning of the database config, but also offer suggestions on how to configure the hardware and potentially update the schema to allow us to scale without issues.
To once again re-iterate, this is not for the average developer who has created a few projects with mysql, but someone who has worked with huge databasets and knows how to get the most out of the database.
