The PROFESSIONAL book you are going to write is non-fiction about a specific Dog Breed (I will give you the details if you are selected). This should cover puppiesl life stages, personality, feeding, breeding, training, where to buy, history and origin, health concerns, adult size, with kids, etc.
-You need to do all the research, or write everything you know if you are familiar with the subject. I will give a list of keywords to make sure you will include everything relating to those keywords. No Outsourcing, you must write the book Yourself.
-The book needs to be original unique content, no copying and pasting allowed from the web. Must pass copyscape. Must have great content and practical tips and tricks. Join forums, discussions, blogs etc to find out unique information that is not easily available just from the web. MUST be a good informative, well structured book & look professional. Please do not bid if you cannot deliver such a PROFESSIONAL book.
-Total page count for the book including foreword, index, to be between 130-150 pages at 6" x 9 " This page count can include several pictures (maximum 35- covering at largest 1/2 of a page. I will give you access to a royalty free photo site (my account), and it will be your responsiblity to insert the pictures into the word doc, and keep a copy in a folder which you will zip and provide to me as well.
Total word count: between 26,000 and 28.000 (or more)

-The book needs to be written in simple, easy to read language, no mumbo jumbo please. Technical/medical terms can obviously not be avoided -but please explain.
-NO tabs allowed in the book.

-list of relevant websites e.g. where to buy suitable aquarium, food, etc... USA and UK
-how are they with children?
-how are they with single people?
-can you leave them if you go away - and how long etc- practical issues
-NEGATIVE sides about keeping the animal MUST be included
I would expect you to add a lot more content.
-I will own all copyright to all material written. You agree not to use this book in your portfolio and will be required to keep it confidential. I will ask you to sign a NDA.
-Pictures: I will give you access to my accounts on a stock photo site to use. I'll ask you to download all of them you use and zip them up to include as part of the job - so we keep a clear record- submit with final draft.
-You need to make the chapter titles as headers and use the sections in word in order to make this happen. By using F9 or F10, the content table need to automatically adjust when I want to make changes to the finished product. You know what I mean if you are an experienced book writer.
-You need to proof read the book and give it to me ready-to-publish in MS Word format.
-Preferably English Native speakers only to apply for the job OR be almost perfect in English. I certainly do not want to read the book and find hundreds of mistakes.
-An entertaining and engaging writing style that makes the reader want to keep reading is a plus even though this is non-fiction of course.
-You need to work totally independently
