I recently started an Amazon business and am growing fast - too fast for me to do everything!
My goal is to sell $1 million this year.
...So, I need you to help me with accounting. The work itself isn't hard. It is "grunt work." But, if you can offer suggestions on ways to understand data or do the accounting more efficiently, I'd certainly like to hear them.
For now, you'd do this:
1) Compute per-item COGS in a spreadsheet, where the data remains in case it needs future calculations
2) Enter that data into Inventory Lab (which lets me see my per-item ROI)
3) Consolidate that data, plus data my CPA firm enters into Quickbooks, into a monthly cash flow spreadsheet
The difference you make:
You free me up from having to do this work. I simply want to look at the data entered, see where I'm at, and make business decisions. Plus, I'm working on other arms of the business at the same time.
It would be of great help to have a freelancer I can trust to do this on a monthly basis. I'll still check your work, just to verify accuracy.
Currently, I have a month backlog of this to do. And then as the business grows, we'll negotiate how you want to expand your role. If you don't want to, that's fine too. We'll make it a win-win.
I'm fun and easy to work with. I'd tell you you'll be treated like family, but I have a kinda messed up family! Yours might be too...so that could be a statement subject to your own interpretation.
But as long as you do your side of things, you can count on enjoying your work!
Knock back a beer if you want. I don't care as long as the data you enter comes out spot-on.
Ecommerce accounting, Inventory Lab, and Quickbooks experience a plus. But not necessary.
I mostly want someone who's motivated, flexible, and 100% reliable.
