Do you look at every "gig" as an opportunity to build a life-long relationship—not just a job?
Awesome! You're exactly what I need.
I've been working on WordPress + React.js plugin for a few months with a freelancer who vanished. I'm not sure if he's sick, or unhappy—but I offered to increase pay, resolve any problems with workflow, hours, design, compensation, dev approach, project management—you know all the stuff that frustrates developers—and he's still gone. Maybe he died. I don't know.
Back to you, the hero.
I need you to spend about 24-32 hours finalizing the last 10% of a very simple React.js WP plugin.
You'll collaborate with me and another WP developer to push this thing across the finish line.
I will be forever grateful, you will get an awesome project to add to your portfolio, money (yay!), an interesting dev challenge (double-yay!), and a compassionate + passionate team dedicated to making the internet more human.
Here's the deets:
-an experiences WordPress developer with more than a few plugins under your belt
-a burgeoning React.js developer that knows how to build headless WP front ends
-have a in depth knowledge of the WP API, user roles + management system, data architecture, etc.
-use a professional dev workflow (git, bitbucket, webpack, etc etc)
-add value beyond the engineering process (you understand the user and see things from THEIR point of view)
-I used to write code. I get you man/woman. I'm in awe of your skills.
-I play product + project manager
-I did most of the design + UX (with my lead designer)
-I will be your new best friend
Please don't waste my time if you can't show me existing projects that use WP + React.js.
Send example code repos and projects and tell me in one sentence why I should hire you.
