Needs to hire 3 Freelancers
We are a Los Angeles-based startup that builds software for law enforcement agencies (police departments, sheriff's offices). We focus on building software that helps citizens better understand what's happening in their local police department and have more transparency and access to information.
We need people to help research key information about those agencies: general email/phone number, who the chief/sheriff is, contact information, social media information for the department/agency, and then more specialized information such as whether they post certain information (eg crime reports) online. Most of this will be web-based research; some might require a phone call or email to the department to gather the information.
We have a spreadsheet that details the departments we are interested in, along with some starter information, such as location and force size. We need this filled out more fully.
The initial document is linked here, which will be edited for more clarity overtime (also attached): http://bit.ly/2eKkuhA
We will provide more contextual information around how to find this data and what it means to better equip you for your research.
You should be able to gather the bulk of the information for around 5 departments/agencies within an hour.
