I need someone who can troubleshoot operational problems, fix errors and update code where needed to fix issues introduced by the Rails 3.0 upgrade. I'm not doing new feature development at this time, but may consider it with the right developer.
The system is hosted at EngineYard, and uses Zencoder, SendGrid and Airbrake web services.
Obviously, you must have expert-level knowledge of Ruby and Rails, In addition, you'll need to have good linux administration chops, and will need to either have or acquire an understanding of how EngineYard does things. This job is part time -- on an as-needed basis.
REQUIREMENTS: I will not hire anyone affiliated with a provider. You must either have a number of excellent feedback scores, or good oDesk test scores to be considered. A ranking on www.workingwithrails.com is a plus.
