We have approximately 2500 chemical records that we need to find Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for. A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is a document that contains information on the potential hazards (health, fire, reactivity and environmental) and how to work safely with a chemical product. The SDS is different from the MSDS in that it is newer and contains a new labeling code called GHS.
We will provide an excel spreadsheet with Product (or Chemical Name), Manufacturer and MSDS Revision Date. You have to scan the internet and find, either from the manufacturer's website or a third-party site, an SDS that specifically contains product labeling requirements, including labeling requirements for the new GHS Labeling system and an SDS whose revision date is newer than the one provided.
You will update the spreadsheet with the PDF file name and SDS revision date and upload the PDF files to a location we will provide.
You will need to provide an SDS for each chemical on the list.
All SDS documents must be in English, in PDF format and be legible.
You will be given a test file and more information once you reply
