We are an events/tour operator looking for a social media/content manager to help run campaigns, manage our content, and generate leads. The ideal candidate should be familiar with lead generation, social media marketing, advertising, email marketing, and growth strategies. We have a very specific niche and want somebody that come up with creative ways to reach them.
-Create social media strategies to support sponsored initiatives, including drafting impactful, timely, engaging and consumer-facing copy and messages, developing a strategic distribution/deployment strategy and ensuring that all social elements are executed flawlessly.
-Monitor, analyze and optimize all Social Media campaigns, with a goal to increase ROI and lead generation.
-Manage social media/content calendar to schedule emails, organic posts, blog post, and advertising campaigns
-Create, track, and optimize ads via FB ads manager - write copy, choose creatives, audiences, goals, etc
-Schedule, Post & Engage on FB, Twitter, IG. Use our existing library of content to drive activity and sales.
-Track statistics for campaigns across all channels
-Provide feedback on website changes, campaigns, and overall ideas to grow the brand, reach the audience more effectively, and drive ticket sales
-Conduct surveys (via google docs) to better target our messaging and event development.
-Weekly call with CEO to discuss campaigns and current projects
-Collaborate with other team members via email and Asana
-Help select and manage a remote team of content writers
-Advocated for the company in social media spaces by participating and posting on relevant blogs and forums
-Must be well-organized, a strong communicator, client-facing, rock-star that bleeds social media marketing.
-Strong writing skills are critical
-Prior experience working with or willingness to learn the following: FB Ads Manager, Mailchimp, Asana (project management),,Upviral, Buffer, Google Drive-Docs, Google Analytics, Design Pickle. We welcome your suggestion on additional tools that might help us reach our goals.
-Established social media background across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other platforms
-Proven experience managing high impact multi-channel digital/social campaigns from inception through maintenance/execution, and completion including recap of the campaign
-Strategic thinker with excellent writing skills, creative problem solving and understanding of Brand voice and tone
Prior experience working with digital and social media marketing tools such as SocialGuide, bit.ly, Adobe Social, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Operative, BaseCamp and other social and digital applications
