I am looking to have a scene illustrated that is to serve as a memory aid for a list of objects. I will give you a description of the scene and an index of objects. From this, I need you to be able to rapidly sketch how you think the image should look (sketch can be on paper or digital—whichever is fastest for you). I will work with you to ensure it looks the way it needs to, and we will finalize the sketch. Next, you will produce a final version of the image, preferably one with vector line art and painted with Photoshop or something similar. I will again ensure it looks as needed, with you making changes as appropriate. I will need the source files of the final sketch, as I may need to add/move/change symbols later. I also need the final image to be high-resolution, as I may need to zoom-in on parts of the image. The final image will be displayed at 930x630, but I want the source file to be around 3x that resolution (2790x1890). I’m ultimately looking for something that looks like this as the final product: https://goo.gl/images/9JFwMu.
I am looking for 1-2 artists to work on a longer-term basis producing “playlists” of such images. If I hire you for a playlist, I need you to produce each image in the playlist, so the art style is consistent throughout. Each playlist will be on the order of 10-20 images.
In order to find my longer-term artist(s), I am looking for ~5 or so artists to go through the above pipeline as a test-run. I’m looking to pay ~$20 per final image, but this fee may be negotiable depending on a number of factors. For the purposes of this test-run, I’ll pay you $20 regardless of whether or not I hire you for the longer-term project. For the longer-term artist, I’m looking for someone who can synthesize my description into a high-quality sketch, who can make changes quickly, and who can ultimately produce a high-quality final product. Again, points for speed and quality.
If interested, send me a message with examples of your work. If I think you may be a good fit, I’ll send you the scene description. I can then hire you for $20 to do the test-run, in which you’ll produce the rough sketch, which after edits and finalization you can produce the final image.
Feel free to reach out with any questions--happy holidays!
