I am looking for a small handful of SKILLED transcriptionists to help with occasional overflow work. You must know the difference between audio hours and the amount of time you put forth for a project as you are paid per audio hour, not how long it takes you to complete a file.
The pay is 15 cents per audio minute ($9.00 per 60 minutes of audio). The oDesk fees are the providers responsibility.
I am looking for a few qualities that you must posses:
Excellent understanding of English grammar and language
Foot pedal and Microsoft Word
The ability to proof your own work prior to submitting
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to communicate well about the work you've taken on
I do not have tolerance for late work and you will not be paid if files are returned late or require a large effort to edit/proof them on my end. This is the providers responsibility!
I am looking for providers who are able to do work when needed! If you're someone who only wants to claim work once or twice a month this may not be for you, I'm looking for individuals who are eager to help out and are able to provide a quality transcript that's proofed prior to submission and meets deadlines.
The files are typically general in nature but may include technical jargon and/or medical terminology from time to time so you will need to be good at doing online research. I will provide a template, guidelines and a sample that must be followed for every file! I typically use Dropbox.com which is free if you do not already have an account. Files will be sent through there however completed transcripts are to be returned via personal email.
You will be given a short test if shortlisted to test your skills.
If you meet the above qualifications please bid. If you lack the skills listed in this posting then please DO NOT waste my time or yours as you will be rejected.
I'm looking for honest and hard working individuals to help me out from time to time. Pay is 15 cents per audio minute and the pay is two times per month on the 16th and the 1st - Please keep this in mind when bidding, payments are not issued after each completed transcript but only twice a month.
Please reply with "Top Dog" in your proposal so I know you've read the entire description. You must tell me why you think you're a good candidate for the job, do not simply send me a one-line sentence about how you wish to join my team. Please address your skills and your qualifications!
