This might be a tall order but I am looking for a graphic designer that has trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at some point and is familiar with the gym culture. If you haven't trained jiu jitsu another type of grappling martial art like Judo would be acceptable. I own a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy in Southern California. I am looking at a product line targeted at men and women ages 30-45. These guys are the kind of jiu jitsu practitioners that aren't looking to compete necessarily, probably aren't looking for a sponsor, probably don't drink any pre-workout, and probably think that Crossfit and nutritional supplements are stupid. 90% also surf and most of them are parents who also have kids who train at my academy. There is a huge intertwining of surfing and Brazilian jiu jitsu going back 50 years or more. I am looking to create a themed line of clothing targeting these older martial artists that is focused on this crossing of beach culture and martial arts. I will need 20 initial designs. Some can be simple text designs some should be graphic designs. I have included an image beach lifestyle type of a t-shirt from Choke Republic that kind of encapsulates the feel of what I am looking for. I also included two images of t-shirt designs that I have done that have sold well at my academy and have my "Soul Roller" logo on them.
These shirts will also be sold on line. I am looking for someone who is familiar with Amazon Merch, and Printful requirements. Please do not use any copywrited material. Feel free to borrow liberally from Jiu Jitsu related memes found on social media. I will own all finished designs. I will pay $6.00 per design for those that are text based. I will pay $10.00 per design for those that are graphically based.
This is the first time I have posted a job via a freelancing website. The demand for my products has out-stripped my ability to create new designs in a timely manner. This will be an ongoing job. I will need 20 initial designs and I will need at least 5 designs per month thereafter or more. Looking for a US based designer only.
