Take messages, Send messages to manager by email, Provide voicemail to clients and customers. Check company voicemail and forward the message to the manager by email. Must have exceptional people skills, presents yourself in a professional manner, has the ability to be firm and directive if need to be as well as to be empathetic; when the situation calls for it. (You may be meeting people on the worst day of their lives and they may be crying, they may be angry and rude..and you are expected to understand, to be patient with frustrated staff and clients.
